This extremely difficult hiking route in the Špik area covers a distance of 8.797 kilometers with a challenging elevation gain of 1512 meters. The total duration for this hike is estimated to be around 5 hours and 48 minutes, so be prepared for a long and strenuous trek.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards the Lipnica peak, located 4.18 kilometers from the starting point. As you make your way up, you'll encounter the Vrsica Pass memorial at 0.2 kilometers into the hike, followed by a wayside cross just a bit further along the trail.

Midway through the route, at approximately 4.4 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning Špik peak. This is one of the highlights of the hike, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The peak itself is right on the trail, making it a must-see destination for hikers.

Along the way back, at 1.6 kilometers from the starting point, you will come across the Slap Kačji graben waterfall, a perfect spot to rest and take in the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, there is a drinking water source located right on the trail to rehydrate during your hike.
