The hiking route to Monte Matto is located in a scenic area with various points of interest along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 4.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 39 meters, making it an easy route suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your trek towards the first point of interest, Giogo dela Bala, located just 0.09 kilometers from the start. As you continue on the trail, you will come across historic ruins at 0.57 and 0.6 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of history to your hike.

Midway through the route, at 1.65 kilometers from the start, you will reach Punta Setteventi, a natural peak offering stunning views of the surroundings. Continuing further, you will encounter Monte Matto, another peak, at 2.3 kilometers from the start. This is the high point of the hike, rewarding you with panoramic vistas.

Along the trail, you will also find informative signs at various points, enriching your hiking experience with knowledge about the area. As you make your way back, take a moment to appreciate Corni Setteventi, another peak located at 1.02 kilometers from the start.
