This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Hochspitz / Monte Vancomun. The trail is 9.606 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1013 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Mitterkar-Biwak shelter located 2.3 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a rest and enjoy the views before continuing on.

Further along the trail at 3.58 kilometers from the start, you will find the Stollen peak. While it is not directly on the trail, it offers a great detour for more experienced hikers looking for a challenge.

At the midway point of the hike, around 4.8 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Hochspitz / Monte Vancomun peak. This is the highlight of the hike, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area that are not to be missed.
