This hiking route will take you to the stunning Pic de Chamatte area, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, totaling 21.3 kilometers with an elevation gain of 951 meters, making it extremely difficult.

Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will embark on your journey towards Pic de Chamatte. Along the way, you will come across a bar about 61 meters from the trail, where you can stop for a quick break. As you continue hiking, you will reach a picnic site just 80 meters from the start, perfect for a rest and enjoying a meal amidst nature.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 10.65 kilometers from the start, you will reach the majestic peak of Pic de Chamatte, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to take some time to soak in the beauty of the area before heading back.

Throughout the trail, there are several drinking water fountains and information spots to keep you informed and hydrated. Remember to bring enough water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before starting your adventure. The route will challenge you both physically and mentally, but the rewarding views make it all worth it.
