This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 19.376-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1360 meters to the stunning peak of Cima Litegosa.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by notable points of interest such as Lago Lagorai, a beautiful lake located 3.33 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at 7.13 kilometers, you will come across Laghetto Pieroni, another picturesque water feature. As you continue your ascent, you will encounter Cimon di Lasteolo, a peak situated at 7.62 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
For those in need of a water refill along the way, a drinking water source can be found at 0.14 kilometers into the hike. Make sure to pack enough water for this challenging trek and stop by one of the springs located at various points along the route for a refreshing break.
Parking is available at the trailhead, just 0.09 kilometers from the starting point, providing easy access to the hike. As you push onward, take in the breathtaking views and keep an eye out for Forcella Dei Pieroni, a scenic saddle located at 7.49 kilometers into the hike.
For a more relaxed hiking experience, the route is an out-and-back trail, allowing you to retrace your steps and enjoy the scenery from a different perspective on the way back.
