This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of la Pianellina. The trail spans a distance of 8.326 kilometers with an elevation gain of 416 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area right at the start of the trail. As you continue, you will pass by a refreshing water source at 84.55 meters from the trail. Feel free to refill your water bottles here to stay hydrated throughout the hike.

Around 3 kilometers into the hike, you will find Ristoro delle Fonti, a restaurant where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat. This is a perfect spot to recharge before continuing on your adventure.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the peak of la Pianellina, located 4.16 kilometers from the starting point. The panoramic views from this vantage point are absolutely stunning and well worth the effort it took to get there.

As you make your way back, you will pass by a tranquil spring at 154.48 meters from the trail. Take a moment to enjoy the peaceful surroundings before completing the out-and-back route.
