This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Avolasio to Artavaggio and back. The total distance of the hike is approximately 7.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 591 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

As you start your journey, you will come across a cafe conveniently located right on the trail where you can grab a quick snack or beverage. Further along the trail, you will find several parking areas for those arriving by car.

About 1.6 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by a natural water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles. As you continue on, at around the 3.6 kilometer mark, you will reach Passo della Sella, a noteworthy saddle along the trail offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across benches where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Additionally, there are several drinking water stations strategically placed along the trail for your convenience.

At the turnaround point in Artavaggio, you can explore the Roccolo Sella and take in the sights before heading back. On your way back, you may encounter wayside shrines and informational points of interest, adding to the cultural experience of the hike.
