This hiking route will take you through the picturesque area around Knöchel. The trail is considered super easy, with a total distance of 1.643 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Bärensteinturm information point located just 19.6 meters from the trail. Further along the trail, at around 0.52 kilometers from the start, you will find the Bärensteinnadel peak and the Conradturm peak at 0.76 kilometers. These climbing spots offer a unique opportunity to challenge yourself and enjoy the stunning views.

Midway through the hike, approximately 0.76 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Riegelkopf peak and a viewpoint overlooking the area. At 0.82 kilometers, you will reach the Knöchel peak, which serves as the destination of this out-and-back route.

Along the way, you may also come across the Bärensteinturmhöhle and Beck Höhle cave entrances, adding a sense of adventure to your hike. Make sure to bring enough water, as there are limited facilities on the trail. Additionally, check the weather forecast before setting out to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
