Welcome to the stunning hiking trail to Saut Girard! This easy out-and-back route covers a distance of 3.18 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the Parking des Cascades du Hérisson, you will embark on a picturesque journey through the Jura region. As you make your way along the trail, be sure to stop by some of the points of interest along the route.

About 1.48 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across a serene water spot. At 1.59 kilometers, you'll find the beautiful Saut Girard waterfall, followed by the enchanting Saut de la Forge waterfall at 0.2 kilometers. These natural wonders are perfect for a scenic break and some great photo opportunities.

For those interested in history, there are some interesting points to explore along the trail. Around 0.71 kilometers in, you'll see the remains of an old Moulin. There are also informational sites like Chaux Louvière and Moulin Jeunet at 1.35 and 0.75 kilometers, respectively.

As you near the end of the trail, at approximately 1.58 kilometers, you'll find a lovely bench to rest and enjoy the surroundings. And at 1.56 kilometers, don't miss the Belvédère du Saut Girard viewpoint for a stunning panoramic view of the area.
