This challenging 7.6 km circular hiking route will lead you through the beautiful area surrounding Vodopád Skok.
Starting off at the Františkánský klášter monastery, you will pass by various points of interest along the trail. As you begin your journey, you'll come across a parking area and a fountain within the first kilometer. You can also take a quick break at a cafe or a restaurant called U Tetřeva, which is located midway through the hike.
As you continue on, you'll encounter several benches for resting and picnic sites for enjoying a meal surrounded by nature. Make sure to check out the Vodopád Velkého Štolpichu waterfall and the Bazilika minor basilica at the 0.04 km mark. Further along the trail, you'll find information points about the area's history and landmarks like Ferdinandov and Rudná jáma.
Venture onwards to take in the stunning views from Maiwaldův kříž viewpoint and witness the beauty of the Dvojitý vodopád, Hrazený vodopád, and Vodopád Skok waterfalls. On your way back, you'll pass by wayside shrines and a monument before reaching the starting point.
With an elevation gain of 413 meters, this hike is considered difficult and will take approximately 2 hours and 47 minutes to complete.
