Welcome to the hiking route near Rampa Poniente in Ciudad de México! This super easy out-and-back trail offers a leisurely 1.578 km walk with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all skill levels.
Starting off at the parking area located right by the trailhead, you'll soon come across the Basílica de Santa María de Guadalupe, just 0.3 km from the start. This beautiful attraction is a must-see featuring stunning architecture and rich history.
As you continue on the trail, at around 0.52 km mark, you'll encounter the Carrillón (Campanario y reloj de la Basilica), a historic memorial that adds to the cultural experience of the hike.
Further along the route, at approximately 0.78 km into the hike, you'll find three natural water features, adding a serene touch to the surroundings. Take a moment to enjoy the peaceful ambiance and maybe take some photos.
For a bit of a detour, about 0.68 km into the route, you can visit the Mirador de la Basílica de Guadalupe for a panoramic view of the surroundings.
