Hiking : Sasso Rosso

This extremely difficult hiking route will take you through a challenging 14.945-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 1510 meters. The trail starts at the parking area near Bivacco Claudio Costanzi Albasini. As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the wilderness hut and shelter at the 5.99-kilometer mark.

Continuing on, you'll come across the peak of Sasso Rosso at the 7.47-kilometer mark, which offers stunning panoramic views. Further along the trail, at around 6.77 kilometers, you'll find the peak of Cima Nana, where you can take a moment to soak in the surrounding beauty.

While the trail is challenging, hikers can also visit the memorial site of Amici della Montagna 1995 at the 1.42-kilometer mark. Dosso Santa Brigida peak is located around 2.3 kilometers from the start and offers another opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear as this route is quite strenuous. It's also advisable to check the weather forecast before starting your hike to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Remember to take breaks when needed and pace yourself accordingly.
