This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking area of Cuel da l'Omp, offering spectacular views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the hike is 21.1 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1794 meters, making it an extremely difficult trek that will test your endurance and skills.
Starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail, you will venture into the wilderness towards the first point of interest. Approximately 2.9 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a drinking water source, providing a refreshing break for hikers to replenish their supplies.
As you continue onwards, at the 3.12 kilometer mark, another drinking water spot is available, followed by a wayside shrine located 3.47 kilometers into the hike. The shrine, known as P51 Mustang, offers a glimpse into the historic significance of the area, adding a cultural aspect to the journey.
Further along the trail, at the 5.85 kilometer mark, a magnificent waterfall can be found off the trail, providing a serene and picturesque setting to appreciate the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, at the 8.14 kilometer point, a spring is accessible for hikers to quench their thirst and rest before tackling the remaining distance of the route.
Towards the end of the trail, at the 10.55 kilometer mark, the highlight of the hike awaits - the peak of Cuel da l'Omp. With its stunning panoramic views, reaching the summit is a rewarding experience for those who persevere through the challenging terrain.
