This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of La Fontanella. The trail is 3.695 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 298 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It will take approximately 1 hour and 36 minutes to complete this out-and-back trail.
As you start your journey, you will come across Agriturismo Malga Masi, a restaurant and alpine hut located right by the trail. This is a great spot to fuel up before your hike. Further along, at 0.88 kilometers into the hike, you will reach La Bassa, a natural saddle offering stunning views of the surroundings.
For a brief rest stop and a picnic, there is a picnic site located approximately 70 meters from the trail at the same distance as La Bassa. Information points are also scattered along the trail, with several informative stops located at the same distance as La Bassa. These stops will provide you with interesting facts about the area.
As you continue on your trek, you will reach La Fontanella, a peak located 1.85 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, at 1.53 kilometers into the hike, you will find Prennputz, another peak worth exploring.
