This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to Gewinges-Alm in the beautiful area of ober gasse. The trail covers a distance of 8.708 kilometers with an elevation gain of 622 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for this long hike. The trail begins with a gradual incline, passing by the informative signs at the beginning of the route. As you continue on, you will reach Knappenstube, a restaurant where you can take a break and refuel before tackling the rest of the journey.

Midway through the hike, you will come across Martalm, an alpine hut located 2.75 kilometers from the start of the trail. Take a moment to admire the stunning views and maybe even enjoy a snack at this picturesque spot. Further along the trail, at 4.35 kilometers from the start, you will find Gewinges-Alm, another alpine hut where you can rest before heading back.

For those who enjoy nature, be sure to look out for the water feature located at the same spot as Gewinges-Alm. It's a great place to relax and take in the surroundings.
