This extremely difficult 20.043 km hiking route takes you through the breathtaking Circuit 4 in Machu Picchu. The trail starts at an elevation gain of 896.0 meters and is estimated to take about 6 hours and 52 minutes to complete. Before embarking on this challenging journey, make sure to check the weather forecast and bring plenty of water.

As you begin your trek, you will come across the Machu Picchu Control point at the 10.02 km mark, where you can get valuable information about the area. Further along the trail at the 4.5 km mark, you will find the Paradero PK 116.500 Inkaraq'ay shelter for a quick rest.
