Welcome to the hiking route "Rencontre avec un glacier"! This trail is located in a picturesque area with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.

As you start your hike, you will come across the "La Chaux" information point, just 0.09 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This point is a great spot to learn more about the local area and its history.

Continuing on, at around 1.68 kilometers into the hike, you will find another information point offering more insights about the area and its natural surroundings.

After about 1.52 kilometers, you will have the opportunity to visit the "Cabane du Mont-Fort" alpine hut, which is located a bit off the main trail. This hut provides a cozy spot to rest and take in the beautiful views of the surroundings.

As you approach the 3.41 kilometer mark, another information point will provide you with interesting facts about the wildlife and geography of the area.

Towards the end of the trail, at around 3.59 kilometers, you will reach a water point, perfect for refilling your water bottle and staying hydrated.

While the trail is relatively short at 7.17 kilometers, it does involve a decent elevation gain of 455 meters, making it a bit challenging. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear, bring plenty of water, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
