This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Löwenburgblick. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of approximately 3.6 kilometers and an elevation gain of 100 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Wanderparkplatz Dicker Stein parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before heading out on the trail. Along the way, you will pass by various points of interest, such as the Geisberg peak, Walter Guilleaume Hütte shelter, Lietschen-Hütte shelter, and Herbert Krämer Hütte shelter, offering spots to rest and take in the surroundings.
About midway through the hike, you will reach the Löwenburgblick viewpoint, providing a stunning vista of the area. Continuing on, you will encounter the Zinnhöckchen peak, Jungfernhard peak, and various benches where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.
Throughout the trail, you will also find informative signs like Abzweig Geisberg, Alte und neue Wege, and others providing insights into the local area. The trail is well-marked, but it is recommended to carry water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before heading out.
At the end of the hike, you will have the opportunity to relax on benches near the Löwenburgblick viewpoint before making your way back to the starting point. Whether you're a beginner or experienced hiker, this route offers a rewarding outdoor experience in a picturesque setting.
