This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Timpa dell'Orso. The 9.168 km circular trail offers stunning views and a total elevation gain of 515 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

Starting at the parking area, you will pass by a drinking water stop just 0.05 km into the hike, where you can refill your water bottles before continuing on. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Colle Ruggio alpine hut at 1.19 km, a great spot for a rest and some picturesque photos.

Midway through the hike at 3.12 km, you will find the sorgente clochera di sotto spring for another water refill point. Further along at 3.91 km, you will encounter the Grotta dell'Orso cave entrance, adding a touch of adventure to your journey.

As you approach the peak at Timpa dell'Orso at 4.22 km, take in the panoramic views before heading back towards the starting point. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this challenging but unforgettable hike.
