This moderate hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural features. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 5.902 kilometers and an elevation gain of 252 meters, making it a moderately challenging hike.

Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards Rifugio Dosso Rotondo. Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest. About 0.26 kilometers from the start, you will come across a water source. Further along the trail, at around 1.72 kilometers, another water source can be found. As you continue, you will reach Dosso Rotondo peak at 2.31 kilometers and Monte Splaza peak at 1.43 kilometers.

At approximately 2.57 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area. The trail will lead you to Goletto di Splaza saddle at 1.73 kilometers, offering a picturesque viewpoint. Finally, after 2.95 kilometers, you will reach Rifugio Dosso Rotondo, where you can take a rest and enjoy the alpine hut's amenities.

It is important to bring an adequate supply of water, especially during hot weather, as several water sources are spread along the trail. Additionally, checking the weather forecast before embarking on this hike is advisable to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
