As you start your journey, you will come across the Localbahnmuseum, a quaint museum showcasing local railway history, located right at the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, at a distance of 0.18 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point providing insights into the Hochfels area.

Continuing on, at around 0.94 kilometers from the start, you can visit the Hochfels viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, there is a historic wayside cross and a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery.

As you approach the turnaround point of the hike, at approximately 0.98 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Hochfels, a natural landmark known for its rugged beauty. From here, you can marvel at the picturesque surroundings before making your way back.
