This challenging hiking route will take you on a 7.5 km circular journey to the stunning Punta de Barrina in a beautiful natural setting. The hike offers breathtaking views and a chance to immerse yourself in the alpine environment.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Font de Joan XXIII, where you can refill your water bottles before embarking on the adventure. As you make your way along the trail, keep an eye out for the informative signs at the information point located 0.18 km from the start.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Collet del Jaume, a scenic saddle point offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take a break, enjoy a snack, and soak in the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Continuing on, you will encounter the Punta de Barrina, a prominent peak that offers stunning views of the area. The elevation gain of 319 meters adds to the challenge of the hike, but the rewarding views make it all worthwhile.
Along the way, you will also come across the Racó de Mont-Ral restaurant, where you can refuel after the hike. Additionally, there are parking areas near the trailhead for your convenience.
