This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area surrounding Monte dei Matti. The trail is 13.841 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 973 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking lot located at the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards Monte dei Matti. Along the way, you will pass by various points of interest. Approximately 0.58 kilometers from the start, you will come across Graffiti, a natural rock formation worth exploring. Further along the trail, at around 4.41 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source for your convenience.

As you continue on, at approximately 5.81 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a stunning waterfall, adding to the beauty of the hike. At 5.94 kilometers from the start, you will reach Lago di Val di Scala, a picturesque lake where you can take a rest and enjoy the serene surroundings.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the summit of Monte dei Matti, located at around 6.92 kilometers from the start. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the area before retracing your steps back to the trailhead.
