This challenging circular hiking route will take you to the majestic Marchreisenspitze peak. Starting at the parking area near Lizumalm, you will begin the hike through picturesque alpine landscapes. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest such as Speicherteich Lizum Tal, where you can admire a beautiful water reservoir, and the Lizumerhof restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy a meal.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by various benches and a drinking water station ensuring you stay hydrated throughout the hike. About midway through the hike, you will reach Malgrubenscharte, a saddle offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Further along the trail, you will encounter informative points such as the B-24 crash memorial and various rock formations including Lizumer Nadel and Kehlbachpitze. As you approach the endpoint, you will pass by Apres-Ski Pfeffermühle, a cozy bar where you can relax after a rewarding hike.

With a total distance of 10.339 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1108 meters, this hike is classified as difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring enough water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
