This moderate 4.009 km out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful Poggio dei Malandrini area. The trail starts at the parking area approximately 0.79 km from the trailhead.

As you begin your hike, you'll come across the Fonte del Cacciatore spring, about 1.9 km into the route, providing a refreshing water source. Continuing on, you'll reach the Rifugio del Montanaro alpine hut at 1.56 km, offering a cozy shelter for hikers.

Further along the trail, at approximately 1.56 km, you'll encounter the Passo Malandrini saddle, a natural feature that adds to the scenic beauty of the area. The Fonte del Montanaro spring is located at 1.7 km from the start, providing another opportunity to refill your water bottle.

At around 2.0 km into the hike, you'll reach the Poggio dei Malandrini peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Don't forget to take a moment to appreciate the Memorial located at 0.79 km, providing a glimpse into the area's historic significance.
