This hiking route takes you through the scenic area surrounding Corchia ovest. The 6.905-kilometer trail offers an elevation gain of 781 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area before reaching a wayside shrine about 2.29 kilometers into the hike. Along the way, you'll also encounter a cave entrance known as Buca di Cthulhu at a distance of 0.23 kilometers from the start. As you continue onwards, you'll come across other cave entrances such as Abisso Bukellen, Buco Miniera del Culaccio, Buca di Satabbor, Pozzo di Cava del Freddone, Saletta dei Geotritoni, and Buca sulla Curva. These natural wonders add an element of intrigue to your journey.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach Fociomboli, a saddle located 2.49 kilometers from the start. The trail eventually leads you to the peak of Corchia ovest, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Further along, you'll encounter the Guglie del Corchia peak and an information point at a distance of 0.67 kilometers from the start.
