Approximately 2.29 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter a historic wayside shrine, adding a touch of cultural significance to your experience.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 3.36 kilometers from the start, you'll find the entrance to Abisso Bukellen, a captivating cave that may spark your curiosity. Nearby, at a distance of 0.23 kilometers from the start, lies Buca di Cthulhu, another intriguing cave entrance waiting to be explored.

For nature enthusiasts, the trail offers several more cave entrances to discover, such as Buco Miniera del Culaccio, Buca di Satabbor, Pozzo di Cava del Freddone, and Saletta dei Geotritoni, each providing a unique glimpse into the region's geological wonders.

Midway through your hike, you'll encounter Fociomboli, a scenic saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue onwards, you'll reach Corchia Ovest, a prominent peak that serves as the destination of your journey.
