This challenging hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The trail covers a distance of 8.664 kilometers with an elevation gain of 179 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the route. As you continue on, at around 3.3 kilometers into the hike, you will find several cave entrances such as Cova del Pi, Cova des Cap Gos, Cova de l'Ullastre, Cova del Xuclamel, Cova del Migdia, and Cova de la Roca Negre. These caves are not directly on the trail but are worth exploring if you are up for an adventure off the beaten path.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 3.35 kilometers, you will reach Pedres Dretes d'en Ruàs, a viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you approach the 4.33 kilometer mark, you will encounter Abric al voltant de M and Abric del Rap Penat, two more viewpoints where you can take a break and soak in the scenery.
Towards the end of the trail, at 4.12 kilometers, you will find Poblat carrer dels Sastres and at 3.9 kilometers, Paradolmen de Roca Negre, both interesting cultural landmarks worth checking out if you have the time.
It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, sturdy hiking shoes, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike.
