This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with ruins, caves, peaks, and saddles to explore. The trail is 3.49 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 264 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

You will start your journey at a parking area near the trailhead. As you make your way along the path, you will come across the ruins of an ancient structure at approximately 1.14 kilometers from the start. Further along, you will encounter a cave entrance and a saddle known as Foce della Faggiola at 1.49 kilometers.

Continuing on, you will pass by another saddle called Foce di Pianza before reaching the peak of Monte la Faggiola at 1.14 kilometers into the hike. The trail will then lead you to various cave entrances and peaks, including Poggio della Signora at around 1.75 kilometers.

Throughout the hike, you will have the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the area and enjoy stunning views from the peaks. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out. This out-and-back route is a great way to immerse yourself in nature and challenge yourself with a mix of terrain and points of interest.
