Welcome to the extremely difficult hiking route to Ago delle Forcelle, located in a magnificent natural area with stunning peaks and breathtaking views. This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of 8.774 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1206 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers looking for a strenuous adventure.

As you begin your journey, you will come across SP76 Ponte sul rio Bianco, a great spot to take in the surrounding beauty and fill up your water bottles before tackling the trail ahead. Continuing on, you will pass by Capanna Re di Sassonia - Guido Brunner, a wilderness hut located 2.06 kilometers from the start, offering a cozy shelter for hikers.

Further along the trail at 3.77 kilometers, you will find Bivacco C.A.I. Gorizia, another shelter providing a resting place for tired hikers. For those interested in the local flora and fauna, there are information points scattered along the route providing valuable insights into the area's biodiversity.

Midway through the hike, at 4.34 kilometers, you will reach Forcella del Vallone, a natural saddle offering a perfect vantage point to admire the panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. As you push forward, be sure to stop by the drinking water source and rest area located at 2.06 kilometers from the start to refuel and recharge for the journey ahead.

As the trail ascends, you will encounter various peaks such as Cima del Vallone, Cima Piccola della Scala, Cima piccolissima di Rio Bianco, and Cima Grande della Scala, each offering unique viewpoints and photo opportunities for hikers to enjoy.
