Welcome to the hiking route to Dovški Pihavec, a challenging and extremely difficult circular trail with a distance of 9.695 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1288 meters. This stunning route will take you through the picturesque alpine landscape of Vratih in Slovenia.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Aljažev dom v Vratih Alpine Hut, located just 0.45 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This cozy accommodation is a perfect spot to rest and refuel before continuing your journey. Further along the trail, at 0.33 kilometers, you will find the Šlajmerjev dom v Vratih Alpine Hut, offering another opportunity to take a break and enjoy the scenic surroundings.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 2.2 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a refreshing spring, providing a much-needed source of water for hikers. Additionally, at 4.17 kilometers, you will reach Stenarska vratca, a picturesque saddle offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching the summit of Dovški Pihavec at 4.59 kilometers from the start. The panoramic views from the peak are truly spectacular and worth the challenging ascent.
