This extremely difficult hiking route on the Sentier du Montaigu trail covers a distance of 15.54 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1440 meters. The estimated duration for completing this challenging trek is about 7 hours and 12 minutes.
The trail starts at a parking area located at the trailhead, offering easy access to hikers. As you begin your journey, you will pass by a refreshing spring at around 6.59 kilometers from the start, providing an opportunity to replenish your water supply.
Around 1.68 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the picturesque Cascade de Magenta waterfall, offering a tranquil spot to take a break and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
