This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and historical points of interest. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 4.277 kilometers and an elevation gain of 244 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at the parking area, you will follow the trail to the wayside shrine called Animita "Lugar de Oración" located approximately 0.14 kilometers from the start. This historical site offers a glimpse into the local culture and traditions.
Continuing on, around the 2.14 kilometers mark, you will reach the Mirador de La Cruz viewpoint. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making it a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery before heading back.
