This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and historical landmarks. The trail is 2.339 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 113 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area, just 17 meters from the beginning of the trail. About 0.23 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Animita "Lugar de Oración," a wayside shrine with historical significance. Continuing on, at around 1.17 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Mirador Cerro Santa Rosa, a popular viewpoint offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps to return to the starting point. Be sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
