This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Pic Maubic. The trail is 11.839 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1027 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 5 hours and 18 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Pic Maubic. Along the way, you will pass by the tranquil Lac de Cap-de-Long, located 1.07 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to take in the scenic views and maybe even have a picnic.

As you continue on, at 3.98 kilometers from the start, you will come across a natural spring where you can replenish your water supply. Around the halfway point, at 5.47 kilometers, you will find another water source.

At 5.92 kilometers from the start, you will reach the highlight of the hike, Pic Maubic, a stunning peak that offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. This is a great spot to rest and take in the breathtaking scenery before heading back.

On your way back, at 0.05 kilometers from the start, you will pass by Le Garlitz, a cafe where you can grab a snack or a hot beverage to refuel for the rest of the hike.

Before embarking on this challenging hike, make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear proper hiking shoes. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast before setting out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
