Welcome to the Haldenweg hiking route! This circular trail offers a super easy hike with a distance of 1.647 kilometers and an elevation gain of 35 meters, perfect for all skill levels.
The trail starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this scenic adventure. As you begin your hike, you will come across the Wetterwarte, a peak that offers stunning views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, you will reach the Bastei peak, known for its wheelchair-accessible viewpoint and historical significance.
Midway through the hike, you will find the Café am Hirschgrund, a perfect spot to take a break and refuel with some snacks. As you continue on, you will pass by the Panoramarestaurant Bastei, offering limited wheelchair accessibility and delicious meals with a panoramic view.
Near the end of the trail, you will encounter the Gedenktafel Kraxelbrüder and Gedenktafel VKA memorials, providing a moment of reflection before completing your journey.
