This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is super easy, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The route is an out-and-back type, leading you to the destination of Wetterwarte.

Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest (POIs) that add to the overall experience of the hike. At the beginning of the trail, you will find DAV Leipzig, which is a valuable information point for hikers. Further along the route, approximately 0.04 kilometers from the start, you will come across a water source, providing a refreshing break for hikers.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across several climbing spots and peaks, such as Tümpelgrundturm, Griesgrundwächter, Elbgucke, Erikascheibe, Tümpelgrundwand, Wetterwarte, and Gelbe Wand. These points offer unique opportunities for adventure and exploration, with some of them being located on the trail itself, while others are a short distance away.

Midway through the hike, around 0.35 kilometers from the start, you will reach Kernzonengrenze, which provides valuable information for hikers. Additionally, at approximately 0.62 kilometers from the start, you will find a parking area, offering convenience for those arriving by car.

Towards the end of the trail, around 0.62 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a viewpoint at an elevation, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. This makes for a great spot to admire the beauty of the area before heading back.

It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, especially on warmer days, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on the hike. With a distance of 1.239 kilometers and an elevation gain of 66.0 meters, this route offers a leisurely outdoor experience with plenty of fascinating sights to enjoy.
