This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The trail is approximately 1.166 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 66 meters, making it super easy and suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail, you will soon come across DAV Leipzig information point, providing you with valuable insights about the area. As you venture further into the hike, you will reach Kernzonengrenze, a significant marker indicating the boundary of the core zone.

Midway through your journey, you will encounter Tümpelgrundturm, a peak perfect for climbing enthusiasts, located at a distance of 0.58 kilometers from the start. Continuing on, you will pass by Griesgrundwächter, another climbing peak just 0.43 kilometers from the start.

Near the end of the trail, at a distance of 0.56 kilometers from the start, you will find Wetterwarte, offering panoramic views and a unique climbing experience. Finally, the highlight of the hike is Elbgucke, a peak also great for climbing, situated at a distance of 0.58 kilometers from the start point.
