This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Margaretenspitze. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 3.462 kilometers and an elevation gain of 220 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a water source, which can be helpful to refill your water bottles before starting the hike. As you continue, you will pass by a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the peak of Bastei, a popular spot for enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, there is a viewpoint called Wehlsteinaussicht where you can take in the breathtaking scenery.

For those in need of a break, there is a fast food restaurant called SB Försterrast along the trail where you can grab a quick bite to eat. There are also several parking areas scattered throughout the route for your convenience.

As you reach the end of the trail, you will encounter Margaretenspitze, another peak offering stunning views of the area. Be sure to stop by the Panoramarestaurant Bastei for a meal or snack before heading back.
