This hiking route in the area of La Rocheta is an extremely difficult 13.218-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 976 meters.
Starting at Parcheggio Rifugio Città di Fiume, a parking area at the beginning of the trail, hikers will pass by several points of interest. Midway through the hike, you will reach Forcella di Col Duro, a saddle point with stunning views. Continuing on, Forcella di Col Roan, another saddle point, offers a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
As you approach La Rocheta, a peak that is 6.61 kilometers from the start, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. It's important to note that Col Duro, a peak close to the trail, is not directly on the path but can be seen from a distance.
Along the trail, you will also come across informational points like Malga Fiorentina and Malga Prendera, which provide insights into the local area. These points are ideal for learning more about the region's history and wildlife.
