This scenic hike takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the Klagstein peak. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 2.357 kilometers and an elevation gain of 112 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Freiersberg saddle, located just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, at the 0.04 kilometer mark, you will find the Freiersberger Hütte shelter and the Juliusbrunnen drinking water source for a refreshing break.

Continuing on, at the 0.69 kilometer mark, you will reach the Juliusbrunnen information point with interesting insights about the area. For a picturesque picnic spot, the picnic site is located at the start of the trail. Further ahead at the 1.18 kilometer mark, you will encounter the Klagstein peak and the Klagstein rock formation, adding a touch of natural beauty to your hike.
