Continuing on, at around 0.62 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Aussichtspunkt auf das Südportal Katzenbergtunnel viewpoint. This viewpoint offers a stunning view of the South Portal of the Katzenbergtunnel, providing a perfect photo opportunity.

Along the way, you will also encounter another parking area closer to the trail, located right on the path at the beginning of the hike. This makes it convenient for hikers to park before embarking on the route.
