The Ruschenweg hiking route is a challenging 7.016-kilometer circular trail that offers stunning views and diverse natural landscapes. The trail starts at the Ruschenweg parking area and takes approximately 1 hour and 47 minutes to complete, with an elevation gain of 66 meters.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a picturesque picnic site located 1.37 kilometers from the start, where you can rest and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature. Continuing on, at the 2.19-kilometer mark, you will pass by a refreshing water source located directly on the trail, perfect for refilling your water bottle.

Midway through the hike, at around 3.16 kilometers from the start, you will find another water source off the trail, offering a serene spot to take a break and soak in the surroundings. As you approach the 1.7-kilometer mark, be sure to visit the Finkenstein viewpoint, known for its panoramic vistas of the area.
