This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area around Hocksteinnadel. The trail is relatively short, with a distance of approximately 1.22 kilometers and an elevation gain of 39 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning, you will find a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Further along the trail, you will pass by Pension & Gasthaus Polenztal, a restaurant where you can refuel and grab a bite to eat.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter Hocksteinturm, a climbing peak that offers stunning views of the area. Nearby, you will also find Hockstein, another peak worth exploring. Be sure to visit Hocksteinaussicht, a viewpoint that provides panoramic vistas of the landscape.
Throughout the hike, you may come across benches where you can rest and take in the scenery. It's recommended to bring plenty of water, as well as snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on the hike.
