This extremely difficult 12.225-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the breathtaking Matthorn peak in a beautiful natural setting. The trail starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this challenging adventure.

As you begin your journey, you'll come across points of interest like Schwandi and Lütoldsmatt, providing you with valuable information about the area. Along the way, you'll also encounter Langematt and Chilchsteine, which offer insights into the local tourism and natural rock formations.

The hike includes an elevation gain of 847 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous climb. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. It's also essential to check the weather forecast before setting out on this demanding trek.

Midway through the hike, you'll find Fräkmünt and Laub, where you can take a break and soak in the stunning views. Towards the end of the trail, you'll reach Matthorn peak, a notable natural landmark in the area.
