This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Lac du Petit Laus in the picturesque area. The trail spans a distance of 9.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 773 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by Parking Lombard, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the journey. As you make your way along the path, you will encounter a refreshing fountain, perfect for filling up your water bottle before continuing on.

About halfway through the hike, you will reach Lac Mezan, a beautiful water feature located just 4.48 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to admire the serene lake and perhaps even take a break to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 4.85 kilometers from the start, you will come across Lac du Petit Laus, your final destination. This stunning lake is a perfect spot to relax and take in the picturesque views before turning back and retracing your steps.

Although this hike is relatively short in distance, the steep elevation gain makes it a challenging endeavor. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes, bring plenty of water, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
