This hiking route takes you through the scenic Hesselweg area, offering a super easy trek with a total distance of approximately 1.691 kilometers and no elevation gain. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.32 kilometers into the hike, you will find a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, at approximately 0.38 kilometers from the start, another bench awaits for you to rest.

Midway through the hike, at around 0.61 kilometers, you will reach Totenweghütte, a shelter where you can take a break or have a snack. Additionally, there are informational points along the trail such as Krebsbach and Totenweghütte, providing you with insights into the area's history and landmarks.

At approximately 0.85 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source, allowing you to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the hike.

As you approach the end of the trail, at around 0.61 kilometers, you will come across a memorial, adding a poignant touch to your hiking experience.
