This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area around Adlerhorst, starting at an elevation of 617 meters and reaching your destination at 1453 meters. The total distance of the hike is 6.554 kilometers with an elevation gain of 810 meters, making it a moderately challenging trail.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by a water source, providing an opportunity to refill your water bottle before you head out. There is also a parking area nearby for those arriving by car. Along the way, you will come across several benches where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.
About 3 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Abzw. Daxerkreuz, which offers information about the area. Continuing on, you will find the Buchacker / Eishöhle information point, where you can learn more about the natural features of the area.
As you make your way towards the destination, Adlerhorst, you will encounter the memorial for Josef Strillinger, adding a historic touch to your journey. Finally, at the endpoint, you will reach the Adlerhorst viewpoint, where you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the surroundings.
