This challenging hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and informative stops along the way.
Starting at a parking area near a water feature, you will begin your journey into nature. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several benches where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
About 1.2 kilometers into the hike, you will find a bench at a scenic spot, followed by more benches at 1.26 kilometers and 1.43 kilometers into the hike. These resting spots offer a chance to take in the beauty of the area and catch your breath before continuing on.
Around the 3.27-kilometer mark, you will reach a trail junction named Abzw. Daxerkreuz, where you can learn more about the area's history and geography. Just a bit further along the trail, at 3.28 kilometers, you will encounter a viewpoint known as Adlerhorst, offering picturesque vistas of the surroundings.
As you make your way back, you can stop at the Buchacker / Eishöhle information point around 0.38 kilometers from the start to learn about local landmarks. Additionally, at 1.49 kilometers, you will find a memorial for Josef Strillinger, adding a touch of historic significance to your hike.
