This challenging hiking route will take you on an 8.182-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 77 meters, lasting approximately 2 hours and 5 minutes. The trail, known as Chute Parker, is an out-and-back route located in a picturesque area with natural and man-made points of interest along the way.

As you start your hike, you will come across Lac Barbotte, a serene water body located right at the beginning of the trail. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the lake before continuing on. About 4.09 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Chute Parker, a stunning waterfall that serves as a perfect midway point to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Along the trail, you will also pass by Accueil Saint-Gérard, a visitor center located at the start of the trail, and Place-de-la-Grande-Maison, a picnic site situated 3.53 kilometers from the beginning. Another highlight of the hike is the viewpoint at 4.08 kilometers, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

For facilities along the way, Saint-Gérard shelter is conveniently located just 0.1 kilometers from the start, providing a place to rest and refuel before heading back.

Due to the length and elevation gain of the hike, it is recommended to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
