Welcome to the hiking route to Pierre Avoi!
Located in a beautiful mountainous area, this 6.3-kilometer circular route offers a moderate challenge with 248 meters of elevation gain. Before embarking on this adventure, make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast.
Starting off, you will come across the restaurant "Croix de Coeur" just 0.02 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before your journey. As you continue, you'll encounter a water source at the beginning of the trail, perfect for refilling your water bottle.
Around 1.67 kilometers into the hike, you'll find yourself near the peak of Savoleyres, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail at 2.2 kilometers, you'll reach the impressive Col de la Marlena.
For informational stops, keep an eye out for the markers at Pierre Avoi (2.9 km), Savoleyres restaurant (1.25 km), and various other points along the trail. Additionally, you'll pass by the picturesque viewpoint at Pierre Avoi around the 3-kilometer mark.
As you make your way back, you'll encounter the saddle at Croix de Coeur, just 0.03 kilometers from the end of the trail. Finally, concluding your hike, you'll return to the starting point near the parking area at Croix de Coeur.
