The journey begins at the trailhead, where you can find parking facilities at the start of the route. Before embarking on this journey, make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast, as conditions can change rapidly in the mountainous region.
As you start your hike, you will come across Lodge Dinorwig, a cozy cafe located at the beginning of the trail. This makes for a perfect spot to fuel up before starting your ascent. Further along the trail at around 1.4 kilometers, you will encounter a water source, allowing you to refill your water supplies.
